FSH role in menopause, bone and cardiovascular health

I've always wondered why all things menopause should be down to oestrogen only. It seems limited and unnatural to me. It looks like FSH is emerging as another driving force behind menopause.

Jaypo, according to this article, FSH is responsible for the menopausal fat belly. In order to try to compensate for low oestrogen levels, FSH induces fat deposition and promotes the transformation of cholesterol to oestrogen.
