I know pathetic attempt at eating badly, but I thought they have lots of sugar in them 😂 but no fat!
I was being bad & good!
CLKD I didn’t toast them, i needed chocolate biscuits to make s’mores, that would have been worth the effort lol
Feeling is coming back today and I’m pretty sure it’s not advisable to eat a bag of crap every time, so I’m just going to stick with it for a bit and hope it goes soon, it’s annoying!
I’m worrying I’m a diabetic which is not helping me, already feel anxious a lot so something else to think about is a pain

A urine and blood test will see how your blood sugar levels are, I think one has to be starved or something?  Do ring your surgery for info.?

My worse time is mid-morning when I get a dip and when I was working and had to drive 14 miles home, I would feel dreadful.  Worse by knowing that there are no pull offs on that stretch of road.  I got so that I had 2 ginger biscuits 20 mins. B4 the journey and DH would have a cuppa ready when I walked through the door.  That's black T, 2 sugars ;-).

MayB over haul your diet?  Do you find that different times of year you feel better/worse?  Certainly when the UK clocks are changed I feel dreadful 4 about a week  :o

My friend would drink flat Coke and eat salted crisps.  DH cooks pancake mix if I feel bad [keeps in the fridge for 2-3 days] or stir fried chicken pieces with lots of veg. on a bed of rice.  Sometimes mid afternoon if I require it.

I have a blood test appointment for Friday next week.
This has only happened to me since HRT so it’s a new thing other than when I was pregnant but that used to go as soon as I ate something, this is different, it goes away a bit but still feel spacey and weak from late morning until bed time. Wake up feeling ok then it gradually comes back 🤷🏻‍♀️
It is defo related to the patches, as it only started on about day 4 ish

No I'd say  :medal: at eating badly!  But you did that as a test.  If it is hypoglycaemia then what we need is to get your blood sugar levels more stable 24/7, so you don't need the emergency sugar.

Is it just a random sugar test on Fri?  My GP surgery gave me a monitor to use at home for a couple of weeks to test blood sugar in different conditions - both after & before eating.

Try not to worry Roobee - if it started with the patches, seems likely to be hormonally driven & you will learn how to manage it.  If it continues to be troublesome you can always ask to try a different type of HRT to see whether that makes a difference (sorry can't remember whether this is your first).

Fasting blood test and urine sample.
This is my first HRT and I’m only 2 weeks in so I kind of have to stick with it for the 3 months and see if it’s just because it’s new to my poor little body 😂 In all other ways I feel ok and I would like to think I don’t have to change. When I say ok, the only thing I can say has improved so far is sleep, no change to mood, anxiety, fatigue etc yet
I have discovered Nakd bars today, have you tried them? OMG they are lush!

Yes I agree, do stick with the new HRT if you can, I didn't mean ask to change in the short term, just that if this is your first there will be other options to try down the line if this proves unsuitable after a reasonable trial period.

If sleep has already improved that's promising  :).  In fact inadequate sleep is another thing that messes with the body's ability to regulate sugar, so once you've been sleeping better for a few weeks that might go some way to helping your body stabilise.

I've seen the Nakd bars in H&B I think, but don't remember having one.

Not long now till your tests on Friday & hopefully those will put your mind at rest.

Test is Friday next week, not this week unfortunately 🙄
I’ve eaten two Nakd bars already today, I cannot believe they are made from just dates and nuts!
I’ve tested choc orange and cashew cookie, I’m resisting the urge to scoff a cherry bakewell one right now 😂😂

Roobee, I haven't read the whole thread but I had the hungry feeling when I started Evorel Sequi, but not to the extent of feeling weak or wobbly.

But I've had that when I've been weaning off my beta blockers and when I looked it up, sometimes that hunger is hyperglycaemia, so the opposite of low blood sugar, high blood sugar and maybe a 'diabetic' issue, BUT big caveat here, it was temporary with my beta blocker weaning and may be temporary with you, not a real issue  :)

Thank you, I’m fairly sure it’s something to do with the patches (evorel conti) so I’m hoping it will go when I get used to them.
I also think my anxiety is making it worse 🙄 I’m just going to eat until I know what’s what 😂

Yes, I'm more inclined to think it's nothing to worry about Roobee  :)

Keep us posted on the results  :pills:

So I ate a bag of marshmallows 🤢 the feeling has virtually gone

I like marshmallows 😂 Well done, so it's transient hypoglycaemia. Of course you can't keep eating sugary stuff so  now you need to wait until you can get the blood tests done. You have mentioned your mother has diabetes? Is it type 2? How are you feeling today?

Hi Sage, this week the feeling has gone, yay!
Will still be having the test next Friday but whatever it was has now gone, so defo something to do with the patches I think.
