Hi jaypo the nausea came with lack of appetite and I couldn’t eat. And my stomach was very sore. It was like morning sickness but all day and all night . Doc gave me anti sickness tablets which worked a bit. I contacted Dr Newson for help and she assured me that menopause can cause nausea. X

The nausea is one of the worst things ever...especially if you have a lifelong fear of vomiting!
My doctor is amazing and did confirm I wasn't going round the twist, as I have not had children I couldn't say it was like morning sickness but he says the hormonal fluctuations are the same kind of thing. I have been prescribed Cyclizine for anti nausea, which is apparently what is prescribed for ladies who suffer with morning sickness.
I have also tried taking a homeopathic remedy which does help if the nausea isn't too bad, but for me it often comes along with a headache so I just need it gone and now.
Anyone going through this has my complete sympathy xx

HRT would be a last resort for me dotty, I know it works brilliantly for so many women but 6/7 years in I'm kinda hoping I can go without it
