Still Sweating ! Help
« on: August 15, 2020, 10:26:23 PM »

Me again...
I apologise in advance for my second message about this. I have noone else to ask but you guys x

I just want to ask regarding the sweating, do these random and regular sweat outbursts mean I'm not taking enough of something or too much?

I've had them for 3 weeks now every day soaked through.  I'm so fed up with it. It's not just a damp sweat it's a full on ' just finished the marathon type' soaked shoulders upwards.

Feel well in myself apart from these awful sweats.

Another change I've noticed this month is my periods which have always been pretty regular - fairly heavy and around 6 days long. This month though I am on day 11 of ustrogetan X2 each night and I started my period when it usually happens after I finish them. I'm normally fairly heavy but it's been only a little blood for 2 days and then this disgusting looking brown stuff for 3 days! What is that? Is this my period? And is this a 'normal' change? Am on I going to get another period in a day or two when I've finished the ustrogetan?

Again I'm sorry to ask, but could really do with some reassurance / advice.

Love to all x

Hi. I can't help with the bleeding part of your question but sweats are usually due to low oestrogen levels. I'm not sure which HRT you are on? The drenching effect is normal for a hot sweat by the way. I used to have to take a change of clothes into work as mine would literally drench me every 20 minutes. I remember how horrible they were so I do appreciate how you feel

I couldn't stand all the sweating, I felt like I needed a shower after just walking to the train on my way to work (having already had one).  I started avoiding moving too much as it would bring on a sweat, not good.  I can say that since I started evorel sequi the sweats have gone.  Not a problem anymore.  I don't think it's evorel sequi specifically, I think it's the oestrogen that I'm getting now.  Hope things improve for you.   :)
