Going round in circles.
« on: August 07, 2020, 11:19:39 AM »

So fed up with this.

Long story short - horrendous array of symptoms for last 3 years. Dizziness, vertigo, mood swings, brain fog, nausea.

Been trying to get on a combined pill to help. Tried about 6 now!!! Each with their own set of side affects, too much to handle. Or didnt help at all.

Been on femodene for 2 months. Suffered greatly with dizziness, but plodded on and now it is subsiding. Yay.

Then crash. A migraine. Extreme nose pressure. Can't get rid of it!!!

Had migraines at start of the year on gederal. They stopped when I changed pill. Since May I have had bad nose pressure. Switched from brevinor to get rid of it, but it has never gone.

Is this the pill? Or not.

I know you won't be able to tell me, but I've had enough. The pill definitely helps my moods and vertigo. But I can't cope with the nose pressure and then migraines.

I have been down the ENT route 18 months ago. Both ct and MRI clear. I do have allergies and nose polyps, but that's nothing new.

I just feel I never get there. I'll end up stopping the pill because of this, but it might not be the pill at fault. So frustrating.

Thanks for reading. X

Is there a reason you're trying the pill rather than hrt? As your symptoms seem to be meno related I would have thought hrt would be more appropriate treatment. Presumably inner ear problems have been ruled out?

Yes, all ruled out.

This started at 41, so the idea of the pill was to balance me out.

Hrt scares me. Don't know where to start, especially as the pill hasnt worked for me 🤷‍♀️

MayB there's a nerve in the back of your neck which is causing problems?  Has your GP suggested an MRI?
