Hello,

On another forum I was chatting to a lady who has the same symptoms as me but she's 3 years post meno whereas I'm still perimenopausal.   So I now understand that if you have no symptoms in perimenopause that doesn't mean that you'll have nothing later on as they could well crop up in postmenopause.   But  there some women who suffer in all 3 stages of the menopause unfortunately.  I hope once I've reached the menopause I will feel better because it's bugging me at the moment.

I only had hot flushes to start with but got anxiety and depression a couple of years ago but only for a few months, I now realise it was all the hormones going haywire and the oestrogen dropping off bit style but some women sail through meno with nothing much  at all,we're just all so different

Have you reached the menopause?

Passed it now I think,started about 6/7 years ago,still get the flushes or hot at least but I know women in their 60s & 70s who still get that
