Hi ladies

Has anyone tried tibilone in Perimenipause , struggling on esteodot 50mcg and Utrogestan 12 - 14 days. Some say the only issue is unpredictable bleeding , I think I could cope with this if my moods energy and libido improved - any thoughts , experiences greatly welcomed . Otherwise think I might need to stop HRT all together and try something else , again suggestions experiences welcome. X

Sorry you are struggling. Tibolone is only for use in post menopausal women i.e. at least a year without periods unless you are over the age of 53/54 when it is considered safe to use.

I'm not sure how old you are.

I can't remember whether you have had a blood test for iron levels?

If you are suffering with moods - is this since your began HRT ?  If not, maybe a separate appropriate Antidepressant and/or anti-anxiety medication for 8-9 months would help.  Some ladies need to take both until their HRT begins to kick in.

Hi ladies

No I haven't had my iron checked . I have decided to stop HRT today , I will still use Estrogen vaginally. I have also started menopause plus supplement and think about the mini pill - I can always go back to HRT - I am 47 . X
