Oestrogel absorption
« on: June 18, 2020, 03:16:45 PM »

Hi I'm 51 and 5 years post meno. Just changed from femoston conti as cant stand progesterone everyday. I was given the oestrogel /utrogestan and was planning on doing a longer cycle but I must be super absorbing the gel as it's sent me weird, dizzy and really sore boobs. I have only used 1 pump for 3 days! I've not had any today as my boobs feel sore. I?ll try half a pump tomorrow...I was putting it on upper arms. I wonder if I put it on my inner thighs if it will stop the sore boobs🤷🏽‍♀️ My last oestrogen result was 111 nmol which was while I was on conti. My testosterone was 0.9 so waiting to speak to GP on Monday to see if she will prescribe 🤞

It might be worth trying half a pump and building up slowly to see if it makes a difference.
The advice I was given by a Specialist Clinic was to be consistent with a dose to allow it to work effectively and allow symptoms to settle.
Sore breasts can also arise from low oestrogen, according the reading I've just done.
If the size has also increased I guess it could be related to higher oestrogen levels.
it's so hard trying to find a balance  :)

Yes I agree.  Doctor wants me to try conti patches so I've researched them. I though the femseven sounded ok and quite
Low dose .. and they?re discontinued 🤦🏻‍♀️
