Well it wasn't there this morning but I'm guessing something has had a tasty snack rather than it recovering 
 Got a fat squirrel eating me sunflower hearts  let battle commence

No it didn't 
I popped it over the fence but when I went to check it later it was still there,barely breathing,wish I could've put it out of its misery but I just couldn't do that,poor little thing.
I've found my silver spirals,so I've put them up on the patio doors,ok so far

If you get any others getting stunned like this it will need dark, warmth and quiet. Pop it into a secure box or container lined with a scrap of cloth, towel or even tissues. Use a covered hot water bottle or plastic bottle full of warm water if nothing else is available and put it against the box so the bird can move away if necessary. Place the box indoors somewhere quiet and leave it for an hour. Don't offer food or water. Have a peek after this time and the bird should be showing signs of recovery. When you feel it's strong enough you can set it free but if it's still semi conscious then contact your nearest wildlife rescue for advice. I did this with four different birds last week and all did fly away. Birds become very cold when shocked so warmth makes a lot of difference. They can still die a bit later from brain trauma though even though they recover and look fine. Hope the spirals work.

Oh thank you Taz, I did remember the rspb telling me to pop it in a box but they said for 10 minutes BUT this was many many years ago,great idea re the hot water bottle.

Lots of our fat tadpoles are growing back legs  .  I've put fish flakes in this afternoon and they are going mad for it 

Blackbirds picking up meal worms ......... robin not far behind.  I think we've had a thrush singing too.

Blinkin crows are hanging off one of the feeders and munching their way through the suet balls

Ladybird larvae, not many but all over the shrubs around the plot

A little tiny wood mouse was looking a bit poorly on our patio this morning but when I went to move it a little bit later it had gone. I hope it's ok as I love watching them running in and out of the holes in the dry stone wall.

Aww poor mousey 
When I let our dogs out this morning the squirrel was on the feeder,they didn't see him and it froze just sitting there until they'd got far enough away,then he legged it,with one of my dogs spotting it and chasing it up the nearest tree
