Everything feeds on something else, from human beans downwards  ;D.  Even our eyelashes have critters munching away. Apparently  ;D

We have a couple of squirrels as frequent visitors to our garden. Grey unfortunately. If there's no nuts out for them to eat, they munch on the wooden shed as if they're protesting 😄

A grey was clearing up under the feeders earlier, slightly better than a rat 🐀  I suppose?

Oh you'll have rats too CLKD. And pigeons, magpies, crows, the odd gull.

Wherever there are people putting food out for birds, they're there. You just rarely see them.

Horrible things.🐀🐀🐀

We've had rats 🐀 🐀 🐀 in the past.  I grew quite fond of the female with 3 kits that used to drink from our pond  ::).  The odd magpie, jackdaws, pigeons ...... no sea gulls though they fly over.  I love our jackdaws  ::)

We dispose of rats.  Yesterday afternoon the robin was singing at me for meal worms, then flew away once I put a few out  >:(.  He's a look out for the starlings  ;D

We get flocks of starlings every spring/early summer in the garden. It always fascinates me that the young who are chasing the adults for food look bigger than their parents  ;D

We buy our rat blocks from a certain auction site ;)

A working terrier is kinder ;-)

I've moved the feeders, dug over the ground to freshen it and found lots of large worms  ;)

Feeders refilled  8)

A corner of primroses in flower.  Another corner full of polyanthus.  1 redpoll with the goldfinches this morning, they are making a huge mess  >:( under the feeders  ::)
