The mystery melon plant in my garden has blossomed large yellow flowers. It won't be long before I find out what the heck it is! ;D

Do these pigeons get attacked by other birds? I mean with them being "stray" as it were

Peregrine falcons and sparrow hawks will certainly catch them - I'm surprised that being mainly white, Claude wasn't the target of our sparrow hawk.

MayB flying in flocks when racing tends to make them safer in a group mentality?

2 dragon flies have flown from the top pond  8)

Just checked it, it's budding like crazy! The blooms are yellowish-orange and about 4 inches across, they kind of look like a hibiscus flower.  The leaves are large and there are tendrils coming off the stems and grabbing onto my thyme and oregano!  Glad the squirrels and rabbits are leaving it alone  ;D

That sounds like my 🎃  ;D.  Some flowers will be male others female, on the same plant  ;).  Do U have pollinators regularly?

We have bees, and now we are getting Monarch butterflies flying about. No sign of beginnings of fruit just yet.

Monarchs fly far and wide ?  We get Painted Ladies flying in from mainland Europe if the air is warm enough and the wind in the 'right' direction

More small wasps begin seen around the ponds this week.  We have a wasp detergent in the form of a hanging 'basket', will watch 2 C if it really does discourage wasps who should think it's a nest already ...........

I love them but sadly not many here this year. First year without a nest in the 30 years I've been here. I guess we can't all be the same  ;D
