Then maybe the critter has mange which will cause all the hair to fall out  :'( and can be fatal as the affected animal scratches like fury.  However, the one in the photos I've trawled the web and found don't seem to have scratched their skin. 

Thanks for the aardvark, it's a critter I would love to see in real Life !

All my bites itch except the lady-bird area, I think because I've been nibbled this week the wasp sting area has been stimulated by the histamines released into the blood stream ........... each area is lumpy too  >:(

I've been at a lake watching dragonflies, a small grebe yet to be identified, damsel flies, young moorhens; catching cray-fish for supper  ;)

Apart from our 'runners' the garden has done really well, still picking roses, still harvesting yellow corgettes and still feeding the pond fish  :-*

Himself tried to photo a bat at this very lake one evening but the image was blurred  ::)

Moorhens are grazers  ;) and yes they are American signal crayfish ........... Sunday lunch  ;)
