No not mad Taz,, a tad daffy but not mad.

I so love watching my birds in the garden. When I lived in my flat we did have a garden but it was out the back and down a stair so although I fed the birds I did not have the pleasure of watching them.
I now have two squirrels, which I know I should not encourage but watching them digging holes for the nuts that they have pinched is lovely.
I do miss my heron though. He/she used to sit in the stream opposite my flats front window.
The other morning I nipped out early for the paper. About two hundred yards from my house were two deer. Not sure what kind but as they trotted away they had a black ring around their tail. Roe deer perhaps as they were quite large. We also have a male pheasant who visits. We live next to a country park and they rear the pheasants for hunting and shooting season.
All i can say about this is

I have always hated hearing the guns.
Its horrible.
