A pond can be utilised as a play pit for kids; lined and made into a bog area ... I do worry about what will happen to our hard work and critters when we move  :-\ ...... damsels are pairing this week  :-*

Sounds good, Me and a friend were in a pub quiz, and the question was, "what is a baby frog called?" The whole pub was in a uproar, my answer was of course a froglet, the quizmaster? took great pleasure in reading this out.

Awe, Why do they get it right when it's raining. Or when it spoils our fun. Sounds nice, an open air event. Me and the girls are going to my friends house to see her new puppy. Staffy cross. Hope it stays nice here.

I have seen 3 new butterflies this year! We get the usual Orange tips, tortoiseshell, Peacocks, Cabbage whites   >:(, but last week we had a beautiful pale blue one ? Holly Blue and a lovely brown/beige one with lighter spots that I liberated from the greenhouse.

You're so lucky to have a wren, CKLD. Ours seem to have disappeared this year - I know they struggle in the hard winters.  :'(
