Where are you Two Hoots?  Lost in the Welsh flooding?

Chris F is already talking about returning  ::) - well he would, from the safety of his bed under a morphine haze  ;)

MotoGP on this weekend as well  ::)

Three lupins, the slugs will be happy  ;D we had success this year with a Himalayan poppy, its a beautiful blue colour, so bought two more. We couldn't resist a rose, it's a beautiful colour but when I saw it was called special grandpa, it's what my son used to call my dad, I had to have it  :)

Also tried lots of samples and bought some jams in the Good Food show and saw Tom Kerridge and Lottie Duncan doing cookery demonstrations, it's a chance to sit down as well as to see the cooking  ;D

Oh you are Special if you can grow Himalyan poppies, usually no where in the UK is high enough!  I found that lupins grow OK here in a deep tub so that the slugs can't climb high enough, one lasted 3/4 years before fading away.

Did U go on a holiday recently or did I dream that as well  :-\

France in April for Paris - Roubaix, feels like much longer ago, and one night away for Malvern flower show.

I do live on top of a hill perhaps that's why the poppy likes it  ;D

I am successfully growing three of them here in the Lakes CLKD. Beautiful blue. Have made sure they are growing where they are a bit protected. Love them

Apparently CF has fractures in the cervical spine - of course, some fractures don't show on X-ray initially, until callus forms round the break so there may be more
yet  :-\

Not good but he is amazingly fit and determined.

Fingers crossed for next year.

Sad he won't be in the Tour. Hope Geraint has another successful one though

Women are around here today, it was nice and sunny but overcast now, probably a perfect day for cycling  :)

:D. The final stage of the womens' Pro Ovo-energy Tour today.

Headlines that CF lost 4 pints of blood during surgery, in my day 4 units was given routinely for a total hip replacement  ::).  I could tell some tales about blood loss!
