Anyone watching the Dauphine.

Just catching up with the first stage.  Should be exciting with some big names.  Hope their weather is better than ours.

It is a shame but it will open up the Tour, a little bit. There are lots of other exciting riders out there. 🚲

Yep.  They ride for 'G' and not be torn between the two of them.  Who will domestique I wonder?

Dutch rider Marriane Vos, a former world champion, had led Britain's Lizzie Deignan by nine seconds after her stage two victory on Tuesday [until a crash today].

The peloton crash also saw the former world champion's CCC-Liv team-mates Jeanne Korevaar and Valerie Demey unable to continue as the 145.1km stage was neutralised for about 25 minutes on its way from Henley-on-Thames and finishing at Blenheim Palace.

Ten riders were taken to hospital with "minor to moderate injuries", race organisers said.

If it's a fractured femur, probable pelvic injury and fractured ribs he won't be walking any time soon.  Would love to see the X-rays ;-)

........ the Girls had A Day too  :'(

No "there may be scenes that you find upsetting" warnings prior to either races today  ::) but OH!

I was never confident watching Froome on a fast down hill stretch, he always looked slightly nervous. I hope he hasn't lost his nerve now after this awful crash, his injuries might heel but the test will be a mental one  :-\
