There's been a weekend of cycling around London since Thursday evening, last 23 km into London for the men right now. At least the weather down South is fine so far.

Luke Rowe breaks tib and fib in stag night accident
- could take 9-12 months B4 he is back in competition
. Wouldn't you think that his Contract would exclude such 'fun', he jumped into shallow water.

Yes I read this, it was his brothers stag weekend
at least he did it after the tdf.
Did you hear that Contador has retired, he really struggled in the tdf but I thought he may have waited until the vuelta before he ended his career.

Yep - unless he changes his mind:
Alberto Contador to retire from cycling after Vuelta a Espana

Ah I thought it was strange to retire before the vuelta
that's what happens when I'm reading and watching athletics, I miss the vital word after

Luckily I have Eurosport so I will watch but I'm amazed ITV are only showing highlights when cycling is so popular.
Luke Rowe was interviewed for BBC Wales about his leg, he's broken it in 20 places
no wonder they said he could be out of cycling for a year.

Crikey - didn't know that there's enough room in tib and fib for 20 fractures
One of those supposedly cycling in le Veulta had a positive drug's test

We went to the antiques fair in Builth Wells yesterday so I only saw the end of the highlights programme, what happened to Cav why wasn't he in the sprint ?
Fantastic live coverage today 10 am until 4 pm, I think I know what I'm doing today .....

Cav is recovering from his nasty fall earlier this year so probably not at full fitness. Must turn on TV soon - my reward for stripping the kitchen units this morning
Oh an antique fair at Builth: did you buy?

Maybe we will see Cav later in the week
No we didn't spend 1p, we had a free entry ticket and it was even too drizzly to buy ice cream
