I am. They only prescribe it for low libido (mine was zero) but it's helped muscle tone and lethargy too.

Hi
Do you get this prescribed or privately?

Mine is on the NHS, originally prescribed at an NHS menopause clinic. The product I get, Testogel, is formulated for men. If you go privately you may be able to get Androfemme, the only one formulated for women.

It's another bureaucratic mess. Because there isn't a product licensed for women in this country it has to be prescribed by a specialist. I get Tostran on the nhs prescribed by an NHS menopause clinic.

Mine is NHS prescribed by consultant gynaecologist as it's not licensed for women it has to be prescribed by gyne or menopause specialist. I use Testogel

I wouldn't have thought so, as it's not available to women without seeing a menopause specialist or gynaecologist, as you have to go for regular check ups/ close monitoring also you will need a blood test before going on it to determine your level of testosterone in your body.

GPS don't normally prescribed it. Because it's not licensed for women they have to take responsibility if anything goes wrong so you can't really blame them. You are entitled to ask for a referral to a menopause clinic though where a specialist can prescribe it. Expect a long wait for an appointment though.
