Is this estrogen level ok ?.
« on: May 31, 2020, 05:26:22 PM »

I've been on Estraderm mx50 and utero for 4 months, was very curious to see what level my estrogen was so paid for one of those home tests. I did it on cycle day 3 as that's supposed to be a flat reading without the mid cycle rise of background hormones. My result was 227, is that an average for being on HRT ?.

I've been switched to Estradose now, just hope I absorb it.

The range I was given as a guide is  200-300.
But the Specialist stressed it was just a guide and symptom control is more important  :)

Tinacros - like already said a one-off reading is not necessarily very accurate especially if from a home test. If your flushes and sweats are not cotrolled at this dose then maybe you need to increase your oestrogen dose? Also some women feel rough on continuous combined HRT due to the progesterone component so this could be a factor?
