Colposcopy
« on: May 24, 2020, 12:33:29 PM »

Does any one no how long it is taking to get a appointment for a colposcopy with covid19, had my smear on 25/03/20 came back hpv and low grade changes (had the same last year) got the appointment and was seen in 6 weeks last year and put on yearly smears. So obviously it's not got better or gone a way, my anxiety is through the roof and my peri symptoms are awful. I am sure the stress of the smear isn't helping.  Just wondering if anyone is in the same position xx

Ring the appropriate dept and ask the question?  Many hospitals stand idle, despite what the media would lead us to believe.  Your GP should have referred you, surely?

I was due a smear February as have had CIN 3 and loop procedure,  also still had hpv virus last year. All smears have been cancelled, and all I was told is that it will resume when covid 19 is over !, 😕. Not much help is it ?.

Have you had any spotting? Make sure you tell them if you do.
