My mum taught me to care for my skin from a young age, so I always moisturise.  Until I was around 30, I washed my face with soap but now I use a cleanser as I find it doesn't make my face feel stripped of moisture.  Now that I'm 50, I use a richer cream at night after removing makeup.  I find Olay a good product for my skin.
For my makeup I just go very light - I don't understand the trend these days to plaster the stuff on like so many young girls do.  I think makeup should enhance the face, not cover it up.  After moisturising, I apply a BB cream (Garnier), then a light dusting with a mineral powder, a little blush and then I touch up my eyebrows.  I get my eyebrows tinted and shaped every four weeks, as I'm blonde and they are otherwise very pale.  I'll use eye makeup if I'm going out for the evening.
