Emotionally crashing
« on: April 21, 2020, 07:42:44 AM »

I was wondering if this had happened to anyone else I kind of emotionally crashed from happy to desperately anxious within a few hours. This used to happen to me before HRT and very occasionally when I was on sequi. I tended to put this down to my own cycle still being active. I'm only fairly recently on Conti, I'm onto the second month, so does anyone think it's possible that my cycle is just having a random flareup.
I know at the moment it's a stressful time and that probably doesn't help, also the fact I've exchanged contracts on our new house but due to the virus obviously we can't complete. The other night was desperate I just have to tell myself it will pass when I'm in the moment it is so awful  xx

I can go from being OK to curled up, deeply depressed in a matter of moments.  Same with anxiety, it floors me.

You've been through a stressful time.  Are you part of a chain?  If you have a cash buyer then apart from physically moving, it may be easier to Complete?  We've done so on Mum's property recently by negotiating about furniture and personal belongings as we couldn't get to clean the house.

We are living through strange times which won't help.

The house is a new build which isn't quite finished and it's going to be the first time my partner and I are going to live together. I am so positively excited about that. My crashes seem to worse the happier I am.
I do like conti, I am one of the weird ones who always felt better on the progesterone bit of sequi

it's normally when I have a lovely happy weekend with my partner then Sunday evening he has to leave. My crash is like Sunday night blues but extreme.  Almost feels like I have to sabotage my own happiness like its too good

I'm 99% sure it's hormonal, it doesn't happen regularly, it tends to come out of the blue .  I wasn't menopausal when I started conti so I suspect my hormones are still having the odd party
