Oh, and another holiday. :sunny: :clapping:
Assuming we can get travel insurance after the FCO lifts travel restrictions. I can see insurers still refusing any cover to do with Covid 2019.
Apart from that, I am not usually a hugger but I have had a really strong wish to hug someone ever since the restrictions  were imposed (particularly a colleague who lost her Mum suddenly just before the lockdown started). The loss wasn't caused by Covid but was still very difficult. i have heard a similar story from another friend today.

Gosh I know, isn't it difficult.  Social media is great but it can only go so far.

I too won't be joining crowds any time soon. Have decided to do most of our weekly shop in the village as it is quicker.  For those higher-end items we will go to the supermarket if and when, not making specific journeys but when we go on a Friday as usual.

I want to buy British a lot more too.  Hopefully once Brexit - remember those days  ::) - more British caught fish/langousitnes etc. will be sold to UK shops and not to Spain.

You can buy some of that online! Also petshops are open ( eg pets at home)....

After lockdown I look forward mainly to seeing my children and other family who live at a distance is the main thing, and of course going on holiday, though it felt like a holiday today :)

Going to live festivals and gigs/events!

It will be interesting to see if consumer habits change permanently or whether after this is (eventually) all over, rampant materialism combined with globetrotting to far flung places, will resume with gusto as before. It would be nice to think that things could change permanently after long term lockdown as people have learnt new skills, ways of working and come to realise what are the really important things in life, as well as valuing people and skills who are among the least valued in society.

Going to our local pub!

I could buy bird food from our local garden centre but it's local of 15 miles away - they will deliver but the Police don't think it's an essential journey  :-\

I can't understand why pets at home remained open: our nearest is a 30 mile round trip.

We tried to buy seeds on line - a 5 week waiting list  :-\

I think that Life will resume to 'normal' as long as airlines get up and running.  We had 2 planes and a a drone across here today  >:(.  I would like those UK orgnaisations/factories that have picked up the pieces and are now providing items that were previously sourced from China and other cheaply produced places to get the recognition they deserve.

Being able to drive to my favourite walks. Hugging my children, going on holiday.
Most of the things I want I can buy online, including plants.
Just getting out and about. Can't see it happening this year though as this virus isn't going away anytime soon. I will still be scared and probably avoiding  people.
Yes walks right out in the countryside but by train for me not car. I could get to Epping Forest (only 3 stops on an overground train) but would feel guilty doing that at the moment. I wouldn't want to buy plants online. Had hoped to go to Crews Hill (near Enfield) ,where there are lots of garden shops all conveniently close together, but had to abandon that.

I buy directly from Nurseries by post and I believe that many have opened since Wed..

Most Garden Centres are shut unless they can deliver locally but there are weeks of queues for orders  ::)
