Hello ladies,
I'm 53, have been on estrogel and utrogestan (7-10 days internally) for a couple of years with the addition of testogel for 6 months (the latter having had no apparent effect on me). After an erratic first few months, my periods are regular as clockwork, no obvious menopausal symptoms (except possibly exhaustion and brain fog) but what has remained from my pre-hrt days are a couple of days of blidingly awful pms - normally quite even tempered, I become a monster of anxiety and nerves, inflicted on myself and anyone else unfortunate to be near me. It is unbearable and with the additional stress of lockdown, worse than ever. Before starting HRT I took agnus castus which helped a lot with pms but stopped taking it because I thought it was incompatible with the HRT though I haven't found any clear sources to back this up.
Any thoughts on whether I should just resume taking it - I cannot cope with aouther month like this. Or any other possible supplements/drugs to cover those few days of PMS (the worst day is first day of my period).
Thanks
