One of the men I play golf with text me today to say he's had it along with his wife.  Both mid 70s

He said he rang dr with h is symptoms and Dr said no question about it, he has covid 19

He said his wife got off lighter with a bad chest infection but he's had symptoms for 2 weeks now x

He shouldn't be out then?  I would allow at least another 2 weeks B4 resuming activities. 

Where does the 80% spring from?  That was the initial idea that 80% of the UK population would suffer.

That as well, but definitely 80% estimated to have it mildly.

Yes two of my children and my son in law have all recovered. However since only those admitted to hospital and now somne NHS workers are beibng tested they along with thousands of others, will not appear in the stats either as being a confirmed case or recovered. As Shadyglade said - thousands.

The guidance is actually 7 days isolation from onset of symptoms provided the symptoms have gone (or 14 days for whole gousehold if one person, but if some gets the virus on Day 13 they still have another 7 days after that but everyone else can go out). Hence Bojo still isolating after more than 8 days as he still has a temp. WHO guidance I think is longer because you may still be shedding virus after 7 days even if recovered.

Theoretically the NHS is keeping track and releasing figures of those who have been admitted to hopsital with serious symptoms of Covid-19 and who have subsequently been released.

The 80% was approx the proportion of those infected for whom symptoms would be mild ie anything from almost no symptoms through to a normal dose of flu from which you recover at home.

I had a freaky couple of hours,     went to sleep OK but woke at 12.40 a.m. with a headache  which didn't last long nor did it require Nurofen 'cos I didn't dare move.  I read.  I worried.  I dozed.

Nose is running.  ? hay fever ?

I'm snuffly.  Back ground headache which is the biggest problem - in case  .

Tree pollen count is high. I'm suffering. Daren't open my mouth whilst out walking or I start a coughing spasm (I can clear a whole street -  )

Good way to make sure everyone gives you your 2m distance, I might try it next time someone comes too close in the supermarket

He said he's fine.  He's mid 70s and still has a mother alive !

I worked with a guy back in 2005-12 who was late 50s and had a mum  and nan alive still ! , at the time I was late 30s and hadn't had a mum for a few years x

Welcome home - 73 year old

Miss Brown said her grandad started showing typical coronavirus symptoms of coughing and fever on March 23rd ? but his condition worsened and he started struggling to breath and began coughing up blood. He was admitted to hospital on March 30th and was discharged on April 16th.
