Just picked up my prescription for these pessaries, has anyone had positive results from using this product?

I've been using them for about 6 weeks. Bit messy but a towel helps.

I was told they'll take a long time to work, she said a year, so I'm  waiting to see. My ovaries and uterus have apparently shrunk and I have been getting twinges so maybe they're doing something. The gynaecologist did say I'd probably feel some discomfort for a few months so... I haven't had a uti or any problems like that since I started either.

Because they're oily, they're a lot easier to insert than the Vagifem too.

I still need to use cream on the outside but, as I said, it's early days.

Maybe someone who's been on them longer will have more info.

It's worth trying. Good luck.

There are several threads on Intrarosa.  I would try putting Intraosa into search engine.  Some women love it and ir has excellent google reviews.  I wanted to try it but GP said would not be enough for my circumstances but if you provides you with much needed comfort then bonus!  Good luck and keep us posted.

Thank you everyone for your replies, I haven't started  Intrarosa yet as it's in my quarantine room. So next Tuesday will be lift off day (so to speak).

Hi, Sammie I have been on Ovestin twice weekly, menopause specialist thought this might be more effective.

I know some people can feel a bit agitated on it so I was wondering if it's best applied in the morning so as not to be to disrupt my sleep?

Hi, have you had any unwanted side effects, I've heard it can increase your libido?

Hi.

The only side effect I had was a craving for sweet stuff I used to get before a period, but that only lasted a short time. Back to normal now.

I haven't felt agitated and I've been sleeping really well because I don't need to get up to go the toilet during the night.

well i?m approaching week 9 of the gel and utrogestan combination

no real side effects yet although have been getting watery discharge on and off and bit bloating in tummy and hair shedding i?m monitoring as now will be when it starts to shed as it did stop when i stopped the gel but so far so good my mood loads better x just need some tweaking if it doesn't work then i?m having break again can't cope cope keep chopping and changing .
did you remain off the gel then or have you tried a patch x

Brilliant Sammie so glad you've found something rhat appears yo be working. It's my first day on Intrarosa so far to early to tell if it works yet. But I'm optimistic as my menopause specialist seemed to think it would.

Other forms of HRT didn't work fir me Sammie this is literally the last chance saloon for me..

did you try lots of hrt forms ! what sort of side effects did you find ?

with regards to your Va as u have surgical menopause if i remember correctly ? do u find you get watery discharge x

let's hope it works for you as you not got anything systemic i think u are older then me i?m only 41 so really need hrt just hope my hair shedding dosent start again x

Is it ok to use both, I've got Ovestin didn't want to go too overboard though..
