I've been using olive and bee vaginal ointment externally, all natural ingredients, definitely has been helping.

AndieM are you from Australia? I've been thinking about trying Olive and Bee, but would have to travel far to get it or pay the $10 delivery. At the moment I using Vagisil from Chemist Warehouse plus Vagifem and Ovestin. Is it worth the price? Your opinion would be greatly appreciated  :)

Hi Lyncola, no from the UK, I got it from Amazon for £19.99
I heard about it in a VA FB group set up by Jane Lewis aka Mary Jane on here.
Only been using it for a couple of weeks, I only need a small amount which I place all around externally after I've showered and that keeps me comfortable, at most I've only had to reapply once during the day, it's also a good size to pop into your handbag.
There is also another product I'm looking at VMagic which has been recommended but as I'm pretty new to this I'm going to wait and see how I get on with what I'm using at the moment but it's another option in the future.

Thanks for your reply AndieM,
Olive and Bee is $22 (the more you order the cheaper the price) plus $10 delivery. This price is from their website in Australia.
This virginal atrophy is very annoying. I've had it for a year and  been using Ovestin since March and started Vagifem in November. I use both Vagifem and Ovesten two nights a week and Vagisil one time a day sometimes 2. Slowly getting better.
I do find as most of my problem is external, so I'm very careful what products I used. I wash my clothes with baby laundry liquid that has no added colour, fragrance etc. when I wash my hair I bend over so no excess shampoo and conditioner runs into my virgina. I use a sensitive soap on my body, only water on virgina.
And it seems to help as well. I only just came back from a holiday, where I wasn't so careful with shower gel plus I use a homemade product for piles and I got a bit worse again. So I think it pays to be really careful with any product that can come into contact with your virgina.
Would love to have a day when I'm not bothered by my virgina at the moment my best is 80% better :( still it's a lot better then being in pain all day.

I was still struggling after a year, but year 5 now and actually can go for a few weeks with 100% comfort. The Ovestin externally for the last couple of years has done this, Vagifem alone never really reached the outside. I still get the odd flareup, not always caused by external products, but stress. Steriod cream for a few days usually sorts this out though, as it could be Lichens, not had biopsy confirmation just vulva specialist but i think he's right.  Ive also started using unscented panti liners, these seem to feel comfy and more protected than being next to my underwear.
