Hot flushes/anxiety
« on: December 09, 2019, 11:25:26 AM »

Hi there
Having a bit of a rough week this week,
I've been having what I thought were hot flushes for a while, a long while,
But this last week it's been unreal,
At the start i start to tremble, really  bad, then the awful sweats, really hot and sweating profusely, lasts between 1 minute to 3 maybe even 4 minutes,
Then shake uncontrollably for about 1-2 minutes.
Then I get cold shivers all over but mainly in my legs.
I do have a lot going on atm with 2 months  worth of dental treatment which next monday will come to an end thankfully, not from bad oral hygiene just a dentist who cant make up his mind.
As a result of this my anxiety has been through the roof and I'm wondering if all this going on is more anxiety/panic attack more than just hot sweats.
Forgot to say the shakes and hot sweat woke me at 4am this morning, that has never happened before, does this happen to anyone else.

Thanks for reading

Sounds like hot flushes.  Which will increase any anxiety you may be experiencing.

A dentist should never prevaricate!  You should be given a dental plan to take home to consider, then return with any questions.  Mine discusses in detail any treatment he thinks that I require until we are on the same page.

Cortisol - the waking hormone - can become bothersome during peri..
