After joining the global movement of The World's Big Sleep Out in 2019, The Big Issue Foundation are excited to be back with The Big Sleep Out in 2020.
Returning to the cold concrete stands of the Kia Oval, The Big Sleep Out gives you the opportunity to help fund The Big Issue Foundation's vital front line team. The night offers you the chance to hear first hand from Big Issue vendors with experiences of homelessness before heading into the cold autumn night to sleep.
Whilst the night might be cold, you can expect to be warmed by the kindness of our team of volunteers, as well the stories of resilience from Big Issue vendors. Last year, Big Sleep Out participant Annabelle told us “you understand more what they might have been through and it makes you far more likely to interact, connect and help them in any way you canâ€.
Join us on Friday 20th November and sleep out to raise vital funds to help end poverty and exclusion. Registration costs just £25 or £20 per person in a team of five or more so if you and your friends, family or workplace want to make a positive change in society this year, grab your warmest woolly hats and sleeping bag and take to the concrete stands of the Kia Oval this autumn.
