Burning spot on leg
«
on:

Hi ladies
I have just experienced a very strange sensation which scared me half to death, out of the blue I had this intense burning on my leg, I actually thought I'd spilt some hot tea on it but no,it got hotter and hotter, just one small spot on the front of my thigh, lasted for a few seconds then vanished as quickly as it started, any ideas?

Static from the carpet/knickers/socks? Any marks left? Does the area itch?

Jay! It's nerve pain from your back, I get it, so does OH, I get it mainly in my ankle and foot.
Feels like someone's just poured hot water on you doesn't it?

Yeah, still nerves there...I'm nearly 100% sure it's nerve pain Jay...the only other thing it could be is acid in your muscle from your workout? My moneys on nerve pain tho...

The sciatic nerve runs from the buttock and can cause referred pain as well as following the nerve from bum to ankle.
A bit like neuralgic pain: sharp and sudden.

I have a burning spot on my L buttock. Did a lot of bending and weeding for 2 days, so that's it! Even though I was kneeling.
