I had a lamp for SAD some years ago, and used it daily for a couple of months but found it made no difference to me. However, I have heard good reports about them from some people. In addition to a SAD Lamp additional vitamin supplements taken during the winter months may also help. I guess it is down to individual choice and the results you get from using such a lamp. I take additional vitamin and mineral supplements in winter and this works well for me. Anyone considering a SAD lamp, my advice is to purchase one that is not too expensive and try it.
