« on: October 27, 2019, 07:47:55 PM »

Hi
I hadn't had periods for 10 months and was, given Oestrogel and urtrogestran.
So... Started regime this month Oestrogel 2 pumps daily, then before I started urestrogan had the worst period ever had!! 🙄
I thought the monthly bleed started after the urogesterone, Confused, and don't want periods again.
What can I do???  :

Battyboo - it's probably just that your lining had built up a bit during your no bleed months. You're technically still classed as peri until no periods for 12 months. Could be your own prog kick started a bleed or your lining was becoming too thick and just spontaneously triggered a bleed. Either way, it's a good thing you're having a bleed than not and tricky in peri to predict as fluctuations can be mind boggling. Once you're stabilised on your cycle they should become a bit more predictable and might be worthwhile tracking dates to see if you're own cycle continues. If you continue to bleed sporadically it'd be a good idea to see your doc and get an endo scan just to check all is well and no fibroids or polyps causing problems.
