I am rationing my Evorel Conti patches and using half a patch per week (rather than changing half twice a week, I only need a low dose). If I continue with this I should have enough to last well into 2020.
If I use the correct doseage I will run out in January. At which point, what other options do you think are open to me?
I still have my womb but no ovaries and am 47, surgical menopause around 10 years ago. I used to have a Mirena & Evorel low dose patch but can no longer have Mirena.
My gynae led me to believe that I only had a few options, all patches, no pills. I don't relish the thought of the trial & error of finding the right dose.
Or, Plan B is to carry on as I am and ask my GP for a low dose anti-depressant to get me through the mood swings until the patch availability situation is resolved.
I walked out on my husband tonight ( I'm back now) but something has to give with the patch situation as it's making me crazy.
As always, any advice gratefully received.
