Vertigo is awful.  We take our balance centres for granted.  My worst attack was after a very heavy cold one C.mas, New Years' Eve I was on the floor of the bathroom, GP refused to come out.  DH had to drive to the house 5 miles away to pick up medication!

I knew as soon as I opened my eyes in the morning  and wouldn't dare move
