Hi there,
I'm away to start my 3rd combo of HRT after Evorel Sequi and Evorel 50/Provera were unsuitable for me. Migraines and deep anxiety/rage during progesterone phase.
Anyway, I've just got my new stuff today and have 2 questions :-
1. It says 2 pumps daily of oestrogel, does that mean 0.75 micrograms x 2 as I was only on 0.5 mcg with the Evorel 50.
2. It says to take Utrogestan on an empty stomach but I thought this was usually taken vaginally?

Hi 2 pumps of Oestrogel is roughly equivalent to a 50mg patch.

Utrogestan can be used vaginally but this is off licence. If you are taking it orally it should be taken at bedtime at least 2 hours after eating. X

I'd never be able to take it then! My stomais never empty!

The empty stomach thing is because food increases, or speeds, absorption of it.

I was interested to see your post as ii  suffer with migraine and find progesterone sets it off. I was thinking of switching to provera.

I assume from your previous regimes you are going to be using a cycle? 

If you dont get on with it orally, vaginally is an option quite a few ladies on here use

Yes I'm on a cycle. I have to say Provera wasn't as bad overall as the norethisterone in the Sequi but my GP said as both Evorel 50 & Provera can cause migraines then she was happy to try a whole new combo.
Fingers crossed 3rd time lucky! X
