I started HRT in April and was told that slight bleeding is normal. It hasn't happened to me yet but I don't think you need to be concerned unless it continues after the 1st 6 months. Which type of HRT is it?

Hi Shellbell. Can you tell us a bit more about where you are menopause-wise as it can help us advise you and share our own experiences? When was your last natural period and how old you are for instance. You will get lots of support on here.

Does it suggest in the leaflet in the box?  Or maybe have a chat with a Pharmacist in your town?

Putting the product name into the search box here will throw up threads too.  Makes notes  ;)

I don't think you need to be concerned re the bleeding as it is common to experience breakthrough bleeding or spotting for the first six months of a continuous HRT regime. It should state this in the patient info leaflet. It takes at least three months on any HRT before you know whether it suits you so still early days.  :) I hope it settles for you. Let us know how it goes!
