Buzzing vibration in vag
« on: July 24, 2019, 05:37:25 PM »

Ok. I don't know what's going on with me. For years I've had odd things going on which when I've listed them on here time to time chronic lower back ache hair loss headaches, people say oh yes your starting peri. Turns out hair loss was down to me having very low iron.  But still have periods every month. The only difference is some were about 10 days in length and heavy. And others light. Only missing one complete month out (August) last year. So back to now. I'm 4 days late according to my tracker. Had period pain for two weeks up till now. Go away on the 29th. Today I'm experiencing a buzz or vibration in my vag. Top Pubic area. It feels odd not painful or anything. Does anyone know what is it?
Also. As for mentioned I go away Monday so I'm thinking of taking Norhisterone to stop anything that might be coming. Or do you think I should just leave it. TIA

Hi. No I'm not on anything. Don't know what if anything is happening peri wise. Still have ovulation pain as always and period pain as always to. Went to see the nurse months back and she said I was too young. I'm 48. My initial thought was peri when my hair started to come out a lot more. But the blood test revealed I had a an Iron Deficiency So was out on folic acid and iron. I am also taking biotin for hair and nails. But as far as periods go. There still there every month apart from this months being late. X

KirstieRose, you mean your nurse said you're too young for menopause? If so, I'm afraid she doesn't know what she's talking about.
If you're still having regular periods and have never taken hrt, then you're likely still in peri...
Have the vibrations stopped now? If so, I wouldn't worry about them. If they're ongoing, every day, maybe worth talking to your gp about.
Good to keep a diary of your cycle as you approach menopause. X

Yes all stopped now. Probably lasted 5 hours that was the first time yesterday. And yes I though her advice was abit off lol. I've been suffering with aching joints and bad lower back pain for well over a year now. Had an mri on my hips and was diagnosed with tears on my membrane L3-5 is it? Was advice 12-14 month heal time.
My only other “peri” moment was around May last year I had a case of burning down there out the blue. Lasted few hours. The another blast of it a couple days later which was uncomfortable enough for me to have a Luke warm bath and paracetamol which touch wood hasn't happened since. No hot sweats or cold chills. Just usual period symptoms of random boob ache some times.  period pain, ovulation pain which I've had since my teens,  lower back ache worse when due on. slight headaches insomnia just before the period.  With some days aching legs and hips. Xx

Hmm. Mine was oestrogen deficiency and one of the symptoms of (mild) atrophy at the time. It totally cleared up after a few weeks of using estriol cream.

Colour me stupid but can you explain mike atrophy please x
