Now I know this will probably sound crazy but testosterone brought back my driving confidence. I've always been a bit of a petrolhead but peri severely hit my confidence when driving and my innate sense of direction.  Couple of months of T and normal service resumed!

Now obviously YMMV, but anyone else on T found the same thing?

Yes I'm on T Sooze and I've kept my driving confidence.  Interestingly I'm the only one amongst my friends who is.  Almost all of them (including my sister) seem to have been affected in some way when it comes to driving x

Now that is interesting!

After reading this thread I actually drove the other day with my best friend as the passenger.  I noticed something a bit odd, i.e. that I was looking in a really strange place, like about 30 yards in front of me.  I've just done some motorcycle training and they're really really hot on 'Where you look is where you'll ride', so they suggest about 100 yards (helps with steering and accident avoidance).  When driving it was as if it took a herculean effort to _not_ look literally right in front of me.  My head and eyes just wanted to cast themselves down and foreshorten my field of vision.  Anyway, I made the determined effort, which was very much against habit, and when I glanced at the speedo I was bounding along the country(ish) road at 65mph - obviously, that's over the national speed limit so I slowed down.  The weird thing is that it didn't feel that fast, I think because I was looking further into the distance???

Hi Nas, I've just read your posts about your anxiety when you drive. I'm in the exact same position now. I'm waiting for some refresher driving lessons. How are you coping now, has your anxiety reduced? Have you any tips?

Hi Pen,
Yes things have improved a bit for me re the driving, in that I am able to drive where I need to get to without the anxiety consuming me totally.
It’s not gone completely and I find nighttime driving with no street lights very stressful still.

I’ve been on the evorel 75 patch for a long time and although it isn’t enough Oestrogen to stabilize all my symptoms, it’s enabled me to drive my car without the fear of  crashing!

I do sympathise, it’s a god awful experience.
