Hi there,

I am 48 this year and have been period free since Dec 17.  Was trying the natural route but anxiety and night sweats and flashes have been
taking over my life so just felt it was time  to try HRT.


I just started Evorel 50 patch (Estradiol) and Utrogestan 100mg (Progesterone) yesterday. Anyone out there on this combination
who would like to chat and provide mutual support... Am feeling really down at the moment and hoping to hear from ladies who are on this or who have been
on this and how they have found it.

Hi,

Just saw your post and sorry I can't help much as on slightly different regime.  I use Estrogel along with utrogestan and feel pretty good on it. It took a good six weeks to feel a reasonable effect and has helped with hot flushes and aching joints which were my main symptoms. My hair did shed a bit but seems to have settled and maybe a bit dryer than normal. Still slight bleeding also which should have probably settled by now.  Never completely straightforward but glad I choose to go on HRT.
How are you doing today? Do you feel worse on HRT or just not any better?
