Hi YogiNic, welcome to the forum, I've not long joined myself. Your post sounds similar to my journey, 3 years of investigations seeing various specialists, trials of different medications/treatments until I was finally listened to by a GP trainee. I haven't had a burning mouth or heavy periods but the rest amongst others I had. I was started on anti depressant first as the GP recommended it for flushes whilst he waited for reply to email to menopause consultant. At the end of that week I started HRT (Everol sequi, patches) I have most definately had an improvement in symptoms however sleep is still an issue for me so at my 3 month review I have been changed to Everol 75 & Provera (started Friday). It might be worth keeping a diary if you are not already doing so to give you an idea of your symptoms and any changes/improvements. The other thing you could look at is general lifestyle as this can help reduce symptoms. All the best, keep us posted on how you are getting on. I was so relieved to be told I was peri as the alternatives were very scary and I had become so frustrated with worsening symptoms and no diagnosis.
