Hi Katejo
It was a bit hit and miss even with the patches with the side effects at first. It was 2-3 months before I noticed I was feeling better. The headaches went and the anxiety got a lot better, also the VA eased a lot.
How long have you been using the patches? 
I saw my GP today for something else and he said there is a shortage with HRT, that's not good to hear.

Hi Vickypk   I started 2 months ago exactly. I am particularly hoping for further improvement to VA (consultant said that I should start to need Vagifem less frequently) and to aching joints/tight calves. Also avoidance of osteoporosis but I can't detect any improvement until I have another scan. Only have very mild osteopenia from my last scan.
Yes I know about the shortage. I have enough patches to last until my next meno clinic appointment.
