Hi,

Has anyone used Diprosone on their external lady bits.  Saw a gynae as having problems with VA.  He said all looked ok no lichen sclerosis just slightly inflamed so prescribed this cream.  Having read up on it it says not to put on genital itching?

Any advice if you have used it would be appreciated as I don't want to inflame the area any more than it already is as it is now bearable.

Thanks, to be honest I was really unsure of using it as it is a potent steroid.  Tried it twice and the redness seemed worse so now not using it.  Gynae did give me estriol cream for exterior as well so started that last night.  I have been reading everyone's posts about this cream but does it take away the redness as this is what is causing the soreness.  I am assuming it is because I am so dry.
It's really difficult when all I seem to be doing is focusing on pain which is getting me down and now it's affecting my family.

You could try asking on the Vaginal Atrophy Facebook group, run by Jane Lewis (maryjane on here). No-one here seems to have used it, so you may get some responses there.
