Hi,
First posting...
Do you need to see Gp when entering menopause, my last period was in January. Had a few symptoms but nothing I really can't cope with apart from feeling very all all the time.  I had a private Fsh test which came back at 37.8.  I'm 48 in a months time and no other health issues.
Oh and I'm putting on weight rapidly mainly around middle but no changes to diet.
Any advice welcome x

Hi tashie & welcome to the forum.
Unless you're worried about something not much need to see dr.
Re the ever expanding middle, par for the course I'm afraid, I fight it every day,sit ups mainly, plenty on YouTube to follow.
Do you take supplements?you will probably need to as they can diminish

Thanks for your reply.  I just keep putting on weight, I work 12 hour shifts and on feet all day and I'm just getting bigger.  I feel hot all the time, sometimes wake up in night sweating, but not recently.  I want to get thyroid checked, my mum has underactive thyroid.  My sister is 2 years older than me and has not entered menopause (peri) yet.
Maybe the fact that I have no children.... maybe there's a link...

Unfortunately the older we get ,the slower our metabolism, middle age spread & all that. I also take 15ml of apple cider vinegar in a big glass of water,it burns belly fat, maybe google it,see what you think

Is it extra weight or middle aged spread?   My apron dropped and from above I look bigger. In reality I haven't added any weight! but that laxity of muscle affected the belly muscles!

Jaypo, do you know if the apple cider vinegar tablets are as effective as the drink?  I just cannot drink it but have just seen there are tablets.
