Hvenab, the medicine definitely doesn't leak !! I started on evorel sequi patches a month ago ... and being nervous, I started on half patches.
I think the challenge is that by cutting them in half you don't get the full dose of the progesterone, which I don't think is a good idea long term.
I started my 2nd month yesterday, and gave gone up to 3/4 of a patch. Planning to go up to full patches in month 3.

How long did you try the full patches for ?

As I mentioned above, it was the specialist menopause clinic that told me to cut evorel sequi in half, so both evorel 50 and conti. I did this for about 6 months then increased to 3/4. Have recently increased to a full patch but have felt awful this month on the evorel conti (though felt really great on the forst two weeks on evorel 50) I guess no judgements can be made until you've been on a regime for at least three months.

If you are worried about the build up of the lining ask your GP for a pelvic scan. They are quite quick to do. You may have to wait a few months but its a good precaution.

Thanks Shropshirelass.
A couple of questions ... did the half patches resolve your symptoms in those 6 months? And were you getting a 'normal' withdrawal bleed in that time?
Sorry, very personal questions  :)

Meno clinic told me to cut Evorel Conti patches in half. So far I have had no changes or side effects. Undecided as to whether I should try a whole patch before I go back to clinic in July.

My headaches were much better and dizziness, nausea, and heat not, but my stomach wasn't very good, which is why I increased. The jurys out for me as felt great initially, stomach problems completely resolved, but this time felt really ill (stomach, headache and nausea) with the progesterone part. Hoping it was a blip, or a bug, but we'll see.

Re withdrawal bleed, when I was having half it settled to end of the third week, for about 4 days, not too heavy. At the moment, it varies, though isn't erratic. This month it was end of the first week, quite heavy though. I think need to give it a few months to settle.

Good luck
