Appetite
«
on:

Hi,
I've never been a great ‘eater', I go through ‘fads' and I've never really been crazy about food either! However when I get my period I just don't want to eat, I just don't have any appetite, I do eat as I force myself. Does anyone else lose their appetite when they get a period?
Thanks

Prior to a period I would either eat for England or go off grub completely. The latter due to the feeling of being bloated and nauseous ........ but a few days won't matter as long as you keep hydrated. As long as you don't get dizzy.
HORMONES
...... I still find dried fruits and nuts,
Dextrose
tablets, dry biscuits useful to much on. How much does it bother you?

Also taste and smell can have a huge influence on appetite.
Hormones can affect the above
.
Little and often? B4 you think you ought to eat ......... graze.

CLKD,
I think that's my main problem, I'm a grazer so I find it really difficult to eat a decent meal.

Does that matter? We are so embroiled in eating at certain times of day: for convenience and sociability: but very often I am hungry B4 meal times, as early as 11.30 a.m. and eat then. Otherwise I get sick ........ I often have supper at 11.45 p.m. because my body needs sustenance. In between
........
It's mid afternoon that I find difficult to fill - dried fruit and nuts most days but sometimes I am SO bored with that choice.
