Hi

Just wondered if anyone has increased their dose from 50 to 75 patches? I was using the 50 and have been ok for the first 2 months and the third was ok, all 3 bled in the last week (so patch 7) The fourth month all my old symptoms have come back and i feel like I did before starting the patches and the bleed has started a early just as I have put the initial conti patch on (patch 5) Thanks in advance

Hi, Yes I went from the 50 to 75 because like you it worked great for the first 2 months then I noticed not as good on the 3rd month.
Maybe our bodies were crying out for estrogen, so we feel better, then we just get used to it and it doesn't work as well?
When I upped to 75 I felt like I'd been drugged!
I have tried the gel as well but got terrible bloating and worse anxiety.
You could try working up slowly, you might be ok on the higher dose, we are all different.
I wish I knew the answer I have been miserable for 3 years with it all

Hi Viola13

I use the 50 patch but change it at the end of every 3rd day (as I felt the drop in levels on the half day).  Just a suggestion but this has worked for me x
