Oh that makes me think of deep fried Mars bars! I had one at a local pub a long time ago. They freeze the bars, then batter them and then deep fry them. They turn out crispy on the outside but slightly melted on the inside and served with a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Honestly, I could only eat one bite, soooo sickly sweet. Save the batter for the fish and chips!

anyone remember smiths crisps made a variety called bones, they were a puff type in salt & vinegar flavour, came in a black bag, i also remember when they did hedgehog flavour crisps, not sure who made them. I used to love the milk tray chocolate bar, so yummy and Terry's biarritz in mint or orange. This isn't doing my calorie watching any good

There was also football crazy crisps/puffs. Does anyone remember the shredded coconut, it was meant to replicate chewing tobacco, like the candy cigarettes used to have the red bit on the end. They were lovely, used to suck the sweet cigarettes until they went pointy.

Aww frozen chocolate is the best.
Sweet cigarettes, and shrimps were a favourite.
Apparently, snickers are going back to be called Marathon. Remember those?

They should never have changed Marathon to snickers in the first place!! It's the same opal fruits to starburst
Used to love all those sweets - don't eat them anymore, sets my teeth on edge just thinking about them!
