Confused and feeling awful
« on: December 21, 2018, 08:05:04 AM »

Hi,
Don't know if it's anxiety or food poisoning!
I have been feeling a little anxious of late, I always do around Christmas.
I went out last night on a Christmas doo, I've woke up feeling awful, running to the toilet, cramps etc. feeling cold and sweaty.
I ate later than usual and I ate fairly rich food too.
I don't know if it's a touch of food poisoning or anxiety as both have similar symptoms.
Any thoughts ladies?
Thank you

Sounds like a mixture of both. Rich food, larger portion, eating late plus the anxiety ramping it all up.
I can feel like that and have runny poos just from an anxious night when the hormones are 'up'.
Maybe worth taking a day off work to recoup. x

Hi Roseneath,
I broke up yesterday, and was I ready!
I'm really shivery and I forgot to turn the heating down last night so the house isn't cold.
I've so much to do but I just don't have the energy!
I also forgot my utrogestan last night and I'm right in the middle of the course, just hope I didn't get an early bleed😟

Hi Spangles
I get chills when my anxiety is rearing it's head.
Just can't get warm, and I shake, don't know if other people can see it, or it's just inside.
I also get the poos, I'm always blaming what I've eaten, but I think it's a mixture of both.
Hope you feel better soon.

Hi Jillydoll.
Yes I get all that too, however this time I've had awful stomach cramps and terrible, painful urgency to go. When I get anxiety poos I just get the urgency to go. Hence the confusion.

I would think that a mix of rich food, eating later, HORMONES and anxiety contribute, doubt it's a bug.  It's the same 4 me particularly at this time of year.  Sips of boiled, cooled water or get some 'electrolytes' from the Pharmacy for the weekend.  Dry toast.  Dry biscuits.  Nuts if you can face them.

  Did U enjoy the event?

Thanks ladies,
I've not eaten yet but I have slept😀 I've broken up from work too so that's good. I don't look forward to the stresses of Christmas either!
I'm going to try a yogurt in a little while and I've had some kefir which seems to have settled me a little.
As for the event CLKD, it was very good and I did have a nice time, entertainment was very good, including fire acts and trapeze acts, I just watched and thought if only😂
