I can go to the property without visiting Mum.  DH has a head cold and I am too angry to meet with her or the Manager.  So we will do stuff in her garden, go to the estate agents and probably visit his brother.  If the weather is like today we will get a Lot Done!

Just a little warning.

For anyone going abroad via Dover or the Shuttle, from Monday onwards.  Operation Brock is being implemented on Monday so expect long delays.  I have no idea why this is happening or who decided, but there you go.  Nothing makes sense anymore.  ::) >:(

Probably due to transport arriving with bodies in?  A tighter up of borders which should already be tight ?

Nothing to do with that. Apparently this was planned for Brexit on the 31st.  Unfortunately the Highways dept don't seem to have got the memo that it's not happening.  ::)

Dover is the tightest port in the country anyway.

At least there has been a warning, unlike accidents on the various Motorways and deaths caused by 'smart' motorways  >:(

Who decided these smart motorways were smart!?! The public raised their concerns at the start of them being made but clearly they didn't know best.......apparently  >:(

Supposedly to prevent congestion.  Using the 'hard shoulder' without taking in account the 1,000s that have died whilst parked up  :'(  :-\.  Congestion happens after accidents/breakdowns, it's a face of Life.  Shit happens but please don't encourage smart motorways .......

The hard shoulder was a great way for police and rescue services, the number of times lately I've seen them stuck in amongst traffic is unbelievable, yet they're hoping to make all motorways into smart ones,it beggers belief

Most roads are over-subscribed anyway  >:( so how does taking away the hard shoulder - which surely is part of our heritage  ;D - going to help!
