A Ryanair attempt to make fun of British Airways on Twitter after a flight mistakenly went to Edinburgh instead of Düsseldorf has backfired.

Ryanair's official Twitter account said it had a "present" for BA - a copy of Geography for Dummies.

But Twitter users made a number of suggestions of books Ryanair could read, including "Customer Service for Dummies".

In January Ryanair was again named the UK's least-liked short-haul airline.

Ive used Ryanair lots of times and never had a problem. It's people who don't follow the rules that cause problems for everyone else on the flight causing delays etc because they're arguing with the staff and then because they don't get their own way or it costs them money they go running to the press it makes me mad.
And they have always delivered me to the correct destination.

We have only used Ryanair once, on a break to Dublin, about 13 years ago. Never again.

The plane was dirty. I don't think it had been cleaned from the previous flight. The attendants were similarly scruffy, tired and flustered.

I kept thinking that if there was an emergency what good will they be.

A bit like easy jet Lanza?you hear all these complaints,yet when watching their repeats of airline on tv,it's all these people who turn up late or who's passports expired or they've turned up a day late etc,then scream and shout at the staff,rules is rules 🙄

I've been to sites when there are printed signs telling campers 'do not walk into the showers with outdoor footwear'.  Crocs seem to be popular.

Can't you buy socks with grips on the bottom? I know they'd get wet, but at least you wouldn't slip over and break your leg!?  😂

Hubby will be ok out there with his bucket and sponge....she can tell him what the bath was like, 😂😂🤣
